These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the purchase and use of Photo Maps sold by Viajes Fotográficos PhotoWorldTours, S.L. (Unipersonal) through maps.photography (the "Service"). By creating an account, purchasing a Photo Map, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence that cannot be excluded by agreement.
A Photo Map is a digital product giving access to curated photography locations for a given destination: an interactive map, scouting notes, access information, reference photographs, seasonal guidance and related editorial content. Photo Maps are accessed online, through your library on maps.photography — there is nothing to download or install, and no physical item is shipped.
Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), which acts as our reseller and Merchant of Record for these transactions: Paddle is the seller of record that charges you, collects payment and applicable tax, holds the funds, and issues your receipt; Viajes Fotográficos PhotoWorldTours, S.L. (Unipersonal) is the supplier of the Photo Map itself. Refunds are correspondingly processed by Paddle, not by Viajes Fotográficos PhotoWorldTours, S.L. (Unipersonal) directly — see our Refund Policy for how to request one, and how Paddle's own Buyer Terms and Refund Policy apply to your purchase alongside ours.
Access to a purchased Photo Map is normally granted to your account immediately after your payment is confirmed. See our Refund Policy for how this interacts with your statutory right of withdrawal.
An account is needed to purchase and access Photo Maps. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorization.
When you purchase a Photo Map, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use it for your own private, non-commercial photography and travel planning.

We may suspend or terminate access for an account reasonably believed to be involved in a breach of this section, without prejudice to any other remedy available to us.
The maps, photographs, location descriptions, scouting notes, curation, editorial structure and underlying database of each Photo Map are owned by Viajes Fotográficos PhotoWorldTours, S.L. (Unipersonal) or licensed to it, and are protected by applicable copyright, database and other intellectual property laws. Purchasing a Photo Map gives you the license described in section 4 — it does not transfer any ownership or intellectual property right to you.
Geographic coordinates and the existence of publicly known real-world places are, of course, facts we do not claim to own; what is protected is our selection, curation, description and presentation of them.
Where a Photo Map is sold with "Lifetime Access," this means access to that Photo Map for the operational lifetime of the Service and for as long as that Photo Map remains available and supported by us — and for as long as your account remains active and in good standing under these Terms. "Lifetime" does not refer to the natural lifetime of the purchaser, and does not guarantee that the Service, its underlying infrastructure, domain, third-party providers, or any particular feature will operate indefinitely.
Lifetime Access means that no recurring subscription fee is required to keep accessing a Photo Map you have purchased for as long as it remains available (see also section 11). It does not prevent us from modifying, migrating, replacing or discontinuing any part of the Service — including its domain, hosting, infrastructure or underlying platform — for technical, legal, security or business reasons.
If the Service is permanently discontinued, Lifetime Access will end, subject always to any mandatory consumer right you may have in connection with that discontinuation.
Where reasonably practicable, we will give advance notice of a permanent discontinuation and provide a reasonable way to access or export the content of any Photo Map you have purchased before it takes effect.
We may add locations, correct information, or otherwise improve a Photo Map after your purchase. Where we do, these updates are included in your existing access at no extra cost — a Photo Map is not a fixed, one-time snapshot.
Photo Maps describe real-world places. Access rules, opening hours, parking, private-property status, vegetation, weather, construction, local regulations and photographic conditions at any location can change after publication and are outside our control. We make reasonable efforts to keep this information accurate, but you are responsible for verifying access, safety and legality on the ground, respecting private property, signage, permits and local law, and exercising your own judgment when visiting any location. This does not affect your rights where a Photo Map's content was materially inaccurate, defective, or not as described at the time you purchased it — see our Refund Policy.
We aim to keep the Service available and your library accessible, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access — the Service may be unavailable for maintenance, technical issues, or reasons outside our reasonable control (see section 12).
The Service runs in a modern web browser on desktop and mobile — there is no app to install. You are responsible for having a compatible device, browser and internet connection.
Prices are shown on each product page. Depending on your location, applicable tax (such as VAT) may be added at checkout by Paddle, which calculates and remits it as part of its Merchant of Record role — the final total shown at checkout is what you pay. Each purchase is a single, one-time payment for the license described in section 4, not a subscription, unless a specific product is explicitly described otherwise.
Neither party is liable for a failure or delay caused by circumstances reasonably outside its control, including internet or infrastructure outages, acts of government, or similar events.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Viajes Fotográficos PhotoWorldTours, S.L. (Unipersonal)'s liability arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Photo Map giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or liability for defective or non-conforming digital content under applicable consumer law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence. Any dispute not resolved informally may be brought before the competent courts as determined by applicable law; if you are a consumer, this includes your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your own country of residence where applicable law grants you that right.
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect a change in the Service or in applicable law. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do; continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, without prejudice to any mandatory right you may have regarding changes to a contract you have already entered into.
